FHC on WHUD

The July 4, 2006 (10am at FHC) event is on the WHUD community calendar (see link below), and it is our hope that WHUD will announce it on the radio (listen in to WHUD) and local press/media may come and see and report this totally positive event. It is free, fun and early enough in the day so that you can go to the pool or shopping or whatever thereafter.

Show your support for FHC. Be a team player and be counted. This is a great, great opportunity to show the Jewish and Secular communities FHC and what we mean for Northern Westchester. There is absolutely no reason not to come out, and as they say "Wave the flag".

Shalom.

Touro Synagogue Newport RI

This past weekend my wife and I went to Newport RI where we had the opportunity to visit the oldest surviving US Synagogue. On Sunday we went inside for a short presentation about the Synagogue and its history.

Well worth the visit. The Synagogue is still used and they currently have 138 members (not families) and approx 7-10 children in the Hebrew School.

If you have not been to Newport RI, it is an enjoyable place to go with alot to do.

Some of the pictures did not come out here. I will try on a new blog entry.
Shalom. Jeremy
