An inspiring letter regarding one of our BAR MITZVAH projects. This was posted with the parent's permission in its entirety. Shalom. Jeremy

Dear Congregants:
As part of my Bar Mitzvah project, I am helping to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My cousin Amanda had Leukemia when she was 8 years old. She had to have chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. She survived Leukemia but a lot of people don’t.

My mother Nancy, will be riding as part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training Program. This is a large program that raises money for people with blood cancers. She will ride over 100 miles in honor of my cousin and together, we want to raise $4,200 to fight against cancer.

Please help us reach our goal by making a tax deductible contribution to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. You can mail your donation back to us at home, or go to the website below to make an online donation.

All donations must be received by March 30, 2007.

Thank you for your support!
