FHC moves forward with Architects

Last night the congregation met and voted to authorize funds to be expended for architectural services that will, if implemented, greatly enhance FHC .

I applaud the membership, and our leaders for moving forward on this initiative so that FHC can be proud of its physical plant (our house of worship) and can honor the memory of people like Ben Hirsch who, almost 50 years ago, had the vision and the tenacity to secure the land and build FHC.

We should never lose hope for an optimistic future. We depend upon our leadership to evaluate current conditions and plan for the future. Our Leaders must balance the needs and desires of a multifaceted congregation. I look forward to the coming months when we will need optimistic leadership to guide the congregation into our future.

I also hope that we step up as congregants and suppport positive planning to improve FHC both physically and spiritually.

Shalom, Jeremy
